ALUMNI SPEAK
Reflecting on my journey, I'm profoundly grateful for discovering UFAS and navigating the demanding Apprentice Lifestyle Coaching (ALC) program (I passed only on my second attempt!). As the Chief Lifestyle Coach (CLC), I take pride in being part of this uniquely remarkable organization. Transitioning from an ALC to a Lifestyle Coach (LC) and then to CLC has been enriching, further honing my coaching and facilitation skills. As an LC, I've cherished the opportunity to tailor programs for diverse sectors by keenly observing my audience. Becoming a CLC has pushed me to expand my leadership and mentoring skills. UFAS fosters an organic and transparent working environment where feedback fuels inspiration and growth.

When I joined UFAS, I knew I was embarking on a unique journey, and I still believe that. Joining as an ALC, I had to start from zero, and every day I learned something new. The fact that I could not learn these anywhere else was even more exciting. I loved sharing my new pursuit with my friends and family and felt proud. Self-determination theory was instilled by my CLC from Day 1, motivating me to practice every day. Each practice session unlocked another level of understanding of my body and mind. I was nervous during the assessment, but thankfully, I passed to become an LC. The first program I led as an LC is a day to remember for life. The members' spirit, energy, and widest smiles truly made me feel like a star. I was recently recognized and promoted to a Dy. Chief Lifestyle Coach.

My journey with UFAS has been nothing short of transformative. Passing the LC assessment on my first attempt laid a strong foundation for my career. The support from colleagues has been invaluable, providing guidance and encouragement every step of the way.
One of the most memorable experiences was launching the pilot UFT program for teachers. Seeing the positive impact we could have on educators who shape future generations' minds was truly inspiring. From assisting in Bhramari programs to leading the URJA program for 100+ students, each experience has deepened my appreciation for our diverse coaching methods. The rooms buzzed with energy, and hearing the students passionately shout “URJA” even after the program ended was an exhilarating experience that reinforced my belief in the power and impact of our work.
