Version privacy-v1.1 · Effective August 2026 · Applies to the UF Index mobile app and web assessment
The short version: your health data exists to calculate your UF Index and nothing else. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone without your explicit consent. You can see it, export it, and delete it — permanently — at any time.
1 · What we collect
- Profile: name, email, phone, age, gender, organization.
- Body measurements: weight, height, neck, waist, hip — used to estimate body composition.
- Wellness answers: perceived energy, body-feeling, sleep quality and hours; and if you use UF Index Plus, your answers to the WHO-5, PSS-10, and PSQI questionnaires.
- Your results: UF Index scores, bands, and history.
We collect nothing from other apps or services unless you explicitly connect them (none are connected in the current version). In the current app version, all of this data is stored on your own device only.
2 · How it’s used
- To calculate your UF Index and Plus scores.
- To show your history, streaks, and personalized insights.
- To share your results with a UFAS coach — only if you granted the coach-visibility consent and requested coaching.
- To feature your transformation on UFAS social media — only if you granted that separate, optional consent.
Never: sold to anyone, used for third-party advertising, or shared without a consent you can point to.
3 · Consent, recorded properly
Every consent you give (clause approval, coach visibility, social media) is recorded with the policy version and timestamp, as required by India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP). Optional consents can be withdrawn at any time without losing access to the app.
4 · Your rights
- Access & portability: export your complete data as a file from Settings at any time.
- Correction: delete any individual check-in and redo it.
- Erasure: “Delete all my data” in Settings removes everything, immediately and permanently.
Deleting your account
In the app: open Settings (the cog on your home screen) and tap Delete all my data. Your account, every check-in, every questionnaire result and every consent record are erased immediately and permanently. Nothing is kept.
If you can no longer open the app — a lost phone, a forgotten password — email connect@ufaslive.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my UF Index account. We delete it within 7 days and confirm by reply. There is nothing to keep after deletion: no partial retention, no anonymised copy. Encrypted backups cycle out within 90 days and are never used to restore a deleted account.
5 · Storage, security & retention
Where your data lives depends on how you use the app. As a guest, everything stays on your device and is never transmitted. If you create an account, your check-ins are also stored on servers operated by Supabase in Mumbai, India (ap-south-1) — your data does not leave the country. It is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and every database record is protected by row-level access rules enforced by the database itself, so no account can read another account’s data. UFAS staff cannot browse your records; a coach sees your results only if you granted coach-visibility consent and asked for coaching.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, everything is erased immediately and permanently — there is no soft-delete. Routine encrypted backups are cycled out within 90 days, which is the longest any trace of a deleted account can survive, and those backups are never used to restore an account you asked us to delete.
An account with no activity for 24 months is reviewed: we write to you first, and if there is no reply within 30 days the account and its data are deleted. Nothing is kept beyond what this section describes.

Scores, bands, and insights describe energy and lifestyle patterns based on your own answers and standard wellness questionnaires (WHO-5, PSS-10, PSQI). They are not a diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice, and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. If you have concerns about your health, sleep, or mental wellbeing, please consult a doctor.
7 · Children
UF Index is intended for users aged 16 and above. Institutional programs for younger participants run only with guardian/institutional consent under a separate agreement.
8 · Grievance Officer
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act requires a named person to answer for how your data is handled. For UF Index that is:

Write with any question, request or complaint about your data — including access, correction, deletion, or withdrawing a consent. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
